Our story
The dream to open a flower shop started in 2021, when my husband and I were on our way to Canmore on a golfing trip for the weekend. What started out as a conversation about ideas for the future quickly turned into 4 hours of brainstorming the possibility of opening my very own store. Jon is always pushing me to grow and challenge myself and it’s funny how we never know that we are on the cusp of a life changing moment that we never saw coming. Without much floral experience but armed with plenty of creativity just waiting to be tapped I was, of course, very reserved about making the leap.
A couple weeks had gone by and I couldn’t stop thinking about all the potential and possibility that was out there waiting, so I decided to go for it. All the pieces quickly started to fall into place from finding the perfect location and building it out with the help of my amazing family—especially my sister Katelyn (I had all these ideas and she brought all my visions to life), to opening day of May 2, 2022. That was a great day. With my family and friends by my side I was ready for this next beautiful chapter of my life.
Flowers and plants are my passion and I love to bring creativity and dreams to life. Flowers have a powerful way of communicating all kinds of emotions and I never tire of creating the perfect arrangement to help a customer tell that special someone just how important they are.
I’m blessed to be apart of the Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland County family. This community has embraced Hometown Bloom and I am truly grateful. I look forward to all the future has in store but until then—Just keep blooming!!

We here at Hometown Bloom take pride in making sure our cooler is always stock with fresh flowers. We meticulously clean out the cooler every week and discard any aging flowers and greens. Arrangements and bouquets that last are our top priority!
